The Training & Development Course

HN2150, Training & Development will examine in some depth the current processes, issues and practices involved in the training and development function. We will explore: needs analysis, training design, methods and evaluation, development methods and evaluation, and emerging trends in the field. You will apply various training and development techniques and practices using case studies and application assignments.

How You Will Be Evaluated in Training & Development

Training and Development simulation Assignment	30		See Handout
Midterm Week 6	30		You will be tested on material covered in the first six (6) chapters of the text. The test will be one hour in duration, and be 60% Multiple Choice and 40% Short Answer questions.
Final Exam During the Final Exam Period	30		This is a comprehensive exam consisting of material from throughout the course. The test will be two hours in duration, and be 60% Multiple Choice and 40% Case, Scenario and Short Answer questions.
